Jalapeño-stuffed whole green Gordal olives




Salty and mildly spicy, these big meaty gordal olives are hand-stuffed with whole pieces of jalapeño pepper for a taste match made in heaven. These olives have the perfect balance of heat and brine, making them an ideal snack, starter or side to any meal.

Gordal olives – also known as ‘Queen’ olives – are very large green olives from Spain, whose size makes them especially suited to stuffing. (Gordal, the Spanish name for these green olives, comes from the word for ‘fat’, referring to their huge size.)

DiSanto's jalapeño-stuffed gordal olives from Seville are delicious as they are, as a simple tapas dish. The relatively low fat content of gordal olives makes them less than optimal for making olive oil, so they are always eaten as table olives.

DiSanto's green gordal olives are carefully selected by our small, local supplier, then hand-stuffed with whole pieces of jalapeño for a fiery hit of flavour.
