The star ingredient of this versatile tomato sauce is the olive di Nocella, also known as Nocellara del Belice olives. These uniquely flavoured, deliciously green olives are plump and meaty, with a rich, buttery taste and hints of almonds and herbs. They add a subtle, tangy note to the sauce, making it stand out from other traditional pasta sauces.

The extra-virgin olive oil in this sauce is made from locally grown olives. The Cutrera family has farmed these olive groves between Mount Etna and the Mediterranean Sea since 1906, and their olive oils have won more than 700 awards over the past 20 years. Buon appetito!
