DiSanto's selected olive oil producer, the family-run Frantoio Vabro, is situated in the breathtaking landscape of lower Tuscany and has tended its olive groves on the slopes of Monte Amiata near Montepulciano for generations. Holder of numerous awards and certifications, Frantoio Vabro is renowned for its fruity Bourbon del Monte aromatic oils, celebrated for their perfectly balanced flavours. The olives are hand-harvested and cold-pressed within 24 hours of collection, with milling occurring at a temperature below 27°C to preserve the original characteristics and nutritional values of the olives.

This very special Italian olive oil comprises extra-virgin olive oil infused with 3% black pepper. It's an incredibly useful ingredient to have to hand in your kitchen, as so many dishes benefit from a whizz of black pepper.  It adds a flavour of its own to dishes, as well as enhancing the taste of other ingredients and adding a gentle warmth to everything from dips to curries, stir-frys, smoothies and traybakes.
