Hazelnut aragostine

Italians have an unwavering passion for their pastries, and when you take a bite of an arogostine, you can appreciate why. Aragostine are dainty Italian pastries hailing from Naples, comprising flaky puff pastry with creamy fillings. These crispy delicacies resemble mini lobster tails, hence their whimsical name.

DiSanto's aragostine alla nocciola are exquisite pastries filled with a rich, sweet hazelnut cream and dusted with icing sugar to finish. Traditionally crafted using an authentic recipe, they are handmade with love for decadent indulgence at any time of the day.

This puff pastry is traditionally made by rolling out the dough on a large table, sometimes using a pasta maker to get it flat, and then cutting and forming it into little shell-like lobster tail shapes. The shells are piped with the hazelnut cream before being baked to perfection.

These sweet, nutty handmade Italian delicacies can be enjoyed anytime, alongside a cup of tea or your favourite coffee, or as an easy dessert, or for entertaining.

DiSanto's Italian hazelnut pastries also make a lovely, authentically Italian gourmet gift for friends and family.
