Almond-stuffed green Manzanilla olives




Manzanilla olives originated in Seville and are among the world's most popular olives. They are commonly eaten as a simple, delicious tapas dish. 'Manzanilla' is derived from the Spanish term for 'little apple," perfectly capturing the olive's round shape and vibrant shades of green.

Medium-to-large-sized manzanillas are perfect for stuffing with all kinds of foods, from cheeses and vegetables to nuts. DiSanto is excited to introduce our almond-stuffed Manzanilla olives: olives filled with Largueta almonds - 'rellena de almendra' - which creates an intense taste and texture in every mouthful. DiSanto's Manzanilla green olives are carefully selected by our small-scale supplier from olive groves cultivated for generations using traditional methods. They are then individually hand-stuffed with whole, skinless Largueta almonds. The almonds bring a sweet and intense flavour to the delicate, buttery taste of the olives.

Try serving these premium olives as an appetiser with a Martini or a dry sherry before dinner or as part of an antipasto platter alongside cured meats, chutneys and cheeses, such as manchego or gouda.
